For 6-10 year-old group: Parents—have you wanted your kids to have some basic lifesaving skills? Even smaller children can help save lives when someone is bleeding! In this class, we will talk about different kinds of bleeding and what your child can do to help a family member or others in case there is life threatening bleeding. Your child will have the opportunity to practice bandaging and even practice using tourniquets. 

For the 11-17 year-old group: A bleeding injury can happen anywhere. We've all seen it happen too often—on the news or in everyday life. Life-threatening bleeding can happen in people injured in serious accidents or disasters. Instead of being a bystander, you can become an immediate responder because you know how to STOP THE BLEED! You will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly to help control the bleeding. You will have the opportunity to practice bandaging and learn how to use tourniquets. You can make a difference for family members, friends or even strangers!!
