Ages 8 and older

• Introduction of flip and open turns
• Participants are divided into groups to work on specific skills
• Course goal is to build endurance and perfect strokes and diving technique
• Prerequisites: Continuously swim two pool lengths (front and back crawl, one length each) and demonstrate correct rotary breathing technique; basic understanding of butterfly must be demonstrated
• Requirements are tested and must be met on the first day of lessons

Class is designed for individuals who are interested in:

• Joining a swim team
• Butterfly stroke is perfected
• Demonstrate an understanding of flips and open turns
