Level 2: B

Age Recommendation: 7-10 years old

Swimmers will work on independent floats, flutter kicks, and front and back crawls. Swimmers will also be introduced to treading water, the elementary backstroke, and the deep end. This class will spend time in the shallow area of the pool.

• Independent front and back floats 10-15 seconds
• Combined leg and arm action on front and back, work on the concepts of the arms
• Flutter kicks on their front and back
• Master rolling front-to-back
• Front and back crawl ¼ length work towards ½
• Introducing elementary backstroke
• Introducing treading water
• Jumping off the diving board-not required to pass
