  • Youth Indoor Soccer League

    Waseca Soccer Club is excited to kick off the indoor soccer season on Sunday January 4th. Indoor winter soccer will go from Sunday January 4th to Sunday March 8th. **NEW this year--our very own varsity soccer players will be helping!!** There will a be FREE "try out soccer day" on Sunday December 14th. Listed below is the schedule for indoor winter soccer: Boys and Girls grades K-2: 12:00PM-12:50PM at Waseca Intermediate School Boys and Girls grades 3-5: 1:00PM-1:50PM at Waseca Intermediate School Girls grades 6-12: 2:00PM-4:00PM at Junior/Senior High School Boys grades 6-12: 4:00PM-6:00PM at Junior/Senior High School *There will be no soccer league on January 25th** No experience is required! This is an opportunity to come play soccer in a fun and friendly environment. Every player will get plenty of opportunities to play and have fun. Payment plans are available; If choosing this option, you are committing to all payments scheduled: Time of registration, Jan. 1, Feb. 1, and March 1. Also if you qualify for free and reduced lunch please contact Waseca Community Education for scholarship opportunities.

    Winter Zen Kids Yoga is a 4-week Saturday series in January designed to help kids move, breathe, and unwind through the winter months. With playful yoga, simple breathing, and mindfulness games, children will build confidence, calm, and connection. Offered for ages *4–6 and 7–12. *Children must be potty trained to participate
  • Self-Defense & Anti-Bullying Power Class

    This confidence-building class teaches students how to protect themselves, stand tall, and speak up. Through fun, engaging drills, students learn practical self-defense moves, how to stay aware of their surroundings, and how to respond safely in uncomfortable situations. We also focus on anti-bullying skills such as setting boundaries, using strong body language, and knowing when to get help from a trusted adult. Students leave feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to handle challenges with courage and respect.

    DASH Sports Basketball Tykes camps provide players an introductory experience to the great game of basketball through fun skill-based drills and mini-games. Players will be taught how to properly dribble, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old age group and recommended when needed for the 4-6yr old group.

    DASH Sports basketball camps provide players a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camps ends with scrimmages/games on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided.

Players will be taught how to properly stickhandle, pass, and shoot in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Sticks and pucks are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old group and recommended when needed for the 4-6 year old group.

Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes and shin guards optional). Soccer balls are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old group and recommended when needed for the 4-6 year old group.

    Bloom & Bend Kids Yoga Series is a 4-week series in April & May designed to help kids grow, move, and shine this spring. With playful yoga, simple breathing, and mindfulness games, children will build confidence, calm, and connection. Offered for ages *4–6 and 7–12. *children must be potty trained to participate April 20, 27, May 4 and 11!

    DASH Sports flag football Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3 year old age group and recommended when needed for the 4-6 year old group.

    T-Ball

    Ages 4-5 Players will be divided up into teams before the start of the season. In a safe and structured environment, we will focus on throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding skills; in addition to sportsmanship and learning the general rules of the game. The T-Ball program will take place at Memorial Park, located along Old Hwy 14 south of Clear Lake. If you are interested in coaching please contact Madison Gilmore at gilm1@waseca.k12.mn.us or 835-5626. Uniforms will be handed out on team picture night, which will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd. Team shirt and hat is included. End of the year celebration will be held at Tink Larson Field on July 14th, with one weather make-up date for the end of year celebration scheduled for July 21st. ****To be guaranteed a team shirt and hat, there is a registration deadline of May 8th, 2026.***

    Youth Softball

    Girls Ages 5+ We will teach young players the basics of softball - throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding skills. We will build on the skills each week and give them a learning environment to become successful players in a "coach-pitch" softball program. We will focus on giving softball players the knowledge needed to compete in the traveling softball program that begins for 10U players. Tuesdays will be a structured practice. Thursdays we will split up into teams to play softball games. T-shirt is included with registration price. Register by May 8th, 2026 at noon to guarantee the proper shirt size!
